We visited Chatsworth Country Fair this weekend. We always enjoy it. Lots of skilled, enthusiastic people doing all sorts of things, and doing them well. We were really impressed with the Blacksmiths and the Farriers. They worked continuously on a very hot day producing and fitting horseshoes. You can pick a lot up from just standing and watching them at work. Plus I love to look at all the tools they use. Some were obviously well used but still much treasured. I find that myself, the most unassuming bit of equipment can become the go to for all sorts of jobs.
